Winona is a lifelong Alaskan, born in Anchorage and currently resides in Chugiak. In 2008 she changed careers and took a job with Suulutaaq, the construction subsidiary, and was transferred to Tumeq in 2011. She enjoys all aspects of her job and is grateful for the opportunity to work for Tumeq/TKC.
Cheryl Tanner is the Accountant for The Kuskokwim Corporation and its subsidiaries. She has been with TKC since 2008, working with accounts payable, issuing shareholder dividend checks, and doing payroll for all of TKC’s subsidiary company employees. Prior to her work with TKC, Cheryl worked more than 20 years in retail management.
Cheryl has lived in Eagle River since 1974. She has been married to Matt Tanner for 25 years, and they have two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, Cheryl and her family spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors and out on the water fishing.
Sarah Gallt is the daughter of Denise Chappel of Talkeetna and Charlie Linnell of Valdez, and the granddaughter of Mary T. Gober (Kameroff) of Anchorage, originally from Upper Kalskag. Sarah is a TKC Class B shareholder. She graduated from Susitna Valley High School in 2004, and attended UAA.
Sarah began working at TKC in August of 2013, first as receptionist and in the shareholder records department. Sarah now works in the community relations and land departments, communicating with TKC shareholders about important projects and assisting with land issues. Sarah also coordinates the Kuskokwim Educational Foundation (KEF) and the Donlin Gold Kuskokwim Education Foundation (DGKEF).
Sarah is a proud mother of two boys, Andrew and Judson, who are both TKC Class B Shareholders. She loves to cook, go camping, pick berries and is learning how to bead.
Maribel Bobby is the daughter of Margaret Bobby of Sleetmute and Wassilie Bobby of Lime Village. She a TKC Class B Shareholder and is of Athabascan and Yup’ik decent. Maribel graduated from Anchorage Vocational Institute of Learning in 2004 and attended three terms at Alaska Career College. She began working for TKC in 2012 as the receptionist and was promoted to Accounting Assistant in 2013. Maribel processes payroll, does filing and light accounting duties for TKC and its family of companies.
Maribel lives in Anchorage with her fiancé Samuel Johns, and their two daughters, 8 year-old Aaliyah and 1 month-old Brooklyn.
Lillian M. Phillips is the daughter of late Nick & Malina Phillips of Chuathbaluk. Lillian is full Yup’ik, but not a fluent Yup’ik speaker. She is an original TKC and Calista shareholder. Lillian was raised in Chuathbaluk and graduated from Crow Village Sam School in Chuathbaluk in 1987. She attended hair styling school at Trend Setters spring of 2000. Lillian moved with her family to Anchorage August of 2000. She is a proud mother and grandmother. Her two girls, Flora M. Phillips and Elizabeth S. Soosuk, are both TKC Class B & Class A (inherited) shareholders. Her grandchildren, Brooklynn M. Dorris and Briston D. Soosuk are TKC Class B shareholders. Lillian began working for TKC in March, 2015 and says she is happy to be working for TKC and for the people of the Middle Kuskokwim area.
