This past weekend, Nikki Corbett of Sew Yup'ik taught a traditional qaspeq making class at the Arviiq Training Center in Aniak. Thank you, Nikki, for sharing your knowledge and skills with our people of the middle Kuskokwim!

There are still spots to sew with Sew Yup'ik tonight. Head over to TKC’s Arviiq Center if you want to join us!Join Nikki Corbett of Sew Yup'ik for a traditional qaspeq making class January 27-29 at the Arviiq Training Center in Aniak. Class fee is $100. Limited sewing machines and materials will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own! For more information and to sign up, please contact Megan Leary at (907) 675-4275.
