The Donlin Gold Kuskokwim Educational Foundation (DGKEF) was formed in 2017 through an agreement between The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC) and Donlin Gold, LLC. The two for-profit corporations, share an interest in promoting education and workforce development among TKC shareholders and the region. The goal is to create a skilled labor force for the Donlin Gold mine project.
The DGKEF offers financial scholarships to support TKC Shareholder students who are interested in the mining industry as well as mining-related and support industries. Scholarships may be awarded for vocational training and university degrees.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
If you plan to apply for a DGKEF scholarship, please keep in mind:
- Eligible applicants may NOT also receive Kuskokwim Educational Foundation (KEF) Scholarships.
- DGKEF Awards are based in part on financial need. Students must complete the financial aid process for their school.
- Students are required to maintain a 2.0 GPA in order to remain eligible for funding.
- Students may reapply each year for DGKEF Scholarships until the end of their program or degree has been complete.
