TKC Talent Bank

Our purpose is to enhance our land, culture and lives of our people.

To enrich the lives of TKC shareholders, TKC provides access to training and job opportunities in our region and beyond. TKC is currently developing a workforce development plan to ensure all TKC shareholders have access to training opportunities.

TKC has made it our priority to connect shareholders with existing training programs such as Job Corps, courses at the University of Alaska campuses and private training facilities throughout the state.

To date, TKC has contributed more than $450,000 to shareholder education scholarships for both collegiate and vocational training.

In order to have a better understanding of the skills possessed and needed by our shareholders, TKC has created a Talent Bank. Talent Bank forms allow us to understand what types of training and vocation classes are needed in order to have a knowledgeable, skilled and prepared workforce in the YK region, subsequently increasing the number of local hires. If you have any questions, please call TKC’s Anchorage office at 1-800-478-2171.
